Kirti Azad addresses media after suspension from BJP

Ahmedabad: BJP lawmaker Kirti Azad addressed the media in Ahmedabad earlier today after he was suspended from the party for ‘anti party’ activities.

He stated that he had received a notice of suspension on the grounds of anti-party activities. However he claimed that there was no specific charges against him. He reiterated that his efforts to fight corruption in Delhi Cricket Body was the reason for the allegations against him. Azad also told media that he would, along with the help of Subramanian Swamy, file a plea in DDCA on his personal capacity. Kirti Azad also said that the accusation were raised by the Aam Aadmi party and that he would want specific answers to all the charges levelled against him.

Kirti Azad spoke to national media today and pleaded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to look into the matter. He said that if charges were raised against him for speaking the truth, then he would prefer to keep committing the crime.
