Indian Actress Kalpana passes way at Hyderabad
Actress Kalpana Ranjani, popularly known as Kalpana passed away on Monday at Hyderabad. She was 50.
She was critically admitted at Apollo hospital in Hyderabad. Sources say that she was taken to the hospital, after the actress complained of a chest pain. However, doctors confirmed that she was dead on arrival.
She is an Indian actress known for her versatile roles in South Indian film industries, particularly in Malayalam Cinema.
Kalpana, the daughter of theatre artists VP Nair and Vijayalakshmi is recipient of National Award for best supporting actress for her film Thanichalla Njan in 2012.
Kalpana sister’s Urvashi and Kalaranjini are also established actors.
