New Delhi: Delhi marked a minimum temperature on Monday with a settling at 6.4 degrees Celsius, a notch below the average recorded this season.
“The day will be partly cloudy throughout. Moderate to dense fog can be seen in many places till forenoon,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The humidity was recorded at 97 per cent at 8 30 am. Visibility at the same time stood at 400 meters.
The maximum temperature that was recorded today was 16.3 degrees Celsius, almost five notches below the average. The minimum temperature settled at 6.4 degrees Celsius. At least twenty trains were delayed due to the dense fog. The met department said the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded 100 percent and the sky remained clear throughout the day.
