Bribe of Rs 40 lakhs handed to Aryadan Muhammed: Saritha S Nair


Kerala: In a shocking news, Saritha S Nair, the prime accused in the solar case, here spoke to the solar commission probing the case, that a sum of Rs 40 lakh was given to Minister for Electricity and Transport, Aryadan Muhammed.

She made a statement which noted that Chief Minister Oommen Chandy had demanded 7 crore of which Rs 1.1 crore was handed over to Thomas Kuruvila at Chandini Chowk  on December 27, 2012 as per instructions made by him. After this, 80 lakh was also handed over, Jikku Mon, the CM’s ex-personal secretary, here in Thiruvananthapuram, two weeks before she was arrested.

Along with the allegations raised against the CM, Saritha S Nair, asserted that Rs 25 lakhs was handed over as first instalment was to Aryadan Muhammed at his official residence at Manmohan Bungalow in Delhi. “The second installment of Rs 15 lakhs was handed over to the office staff at a function in Kottayam,” she added.
