‘AIRLIFT’ goes tax-free

AirliftThe new movie, ‘Airlift’ starring Akshay Kumar, has been announced as tax-free in Uttar Pradesh.

The star made the announcement on Twitter account in which he thanked the UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

“Just been informed the Uttar Pradesh government has declared #Airlift as Tax Free. Thank you to the young & progressive team led by @yadavakhilesh.”

The film is based in Kuwait, and done around on the story line of evacuation of Indians. The move opened last week with rave reviews from critics and fans.

Akshay’s “Airlift” co-star Nimrat Kaur retweeted his post and wrote, “So incredible and hopefully a first of many more to follow. #TaxFree #Airlift.”

The movie has been directed by Raja Krishna Menon and co-produced by Nikhil Advani
