Pakistani-American terrorist-turned-approver David Coleman Headley has in his deposition has yet again exposed plans to eliminate Indian leaders. In his latest statement Headley , revealed that Lashkar-e-Toiba were planning to target Shiv Sena HQ and Bal Thackeray. Headley is currently deposing before the court via video conferencing from an undisclosed location in the United States of America.
Headley also revealed that the LeT planned on targetting the Shiv Sena Bhavan and then Shiv Sena leader Bal Thackeray in the furture, for which he was instructed to visit the building and conduct video surveillance.
He further said that Sajid Mir asked him to develop a friendship with Rajaram Rege, who was the PRO of Uddhav Thackeray. Thackeray devoted his public life to championing the rights of Mumbai’s “sons of the soil”.Thus confirming the facts written by author-journalist Hussain Zaidi in his book 'Headley and I'.
