Mumbai: The news Make in India Centre at MMRDA grounds in Mumbai was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi today. The ceremonial ribbon was cut in the presence of Finnish and Swedish Prime Ministers Juha-Petri Sipila and Kjell Lofven respectively. The ceremony also included the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and high profile dignitaries.
Later in the evening, the ‘Make in India’ will also be inaugurated by the Prime Minister at NSCI, Worli. The PM would also address a gathering of more than 800 delegates ranging from senior leaders to captains of various industries from both India and abroad.
The flagship program ‘Make in India Week’ will provide the greater momentum to the Make in India initiative and most importantly promotion of India as a manufacturing hub globally. Delegation representing the government from 49 countries and business delegation from 68 countries are slated to attend the event
