Allegations made by Azam Khan baseless: Centre
New Delhi: The Central Government has refuted the allegations by Samajwadi Party leader, Azam Khan against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
A day ago, the SP leader had claimed the presence of India’s number one enemy, Dawood Ibrahim at a meeting between PM Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart.
In a clarification issued last night, the Information & Broadcasting ministry had leveled the accusations as baseless. The press release had stated that the allegations made by the leader were totally unfounded and false.
The Prime Minister on his way back from Afghanistan had made an unscheduled stop over at Lahore on 25th of December to greet Mr. Sharif for his birthday.
