The Zeliangrong Youth Front has given their full support to the blockade protesting against the talk between the Indian government and the Nagas.
From February 1st 2016 an indefinite blockade has been called in at the highways by The Kuki Students Organisation (KSO) and the All Naga Students Association, Manipur, (ANSAM) protesting against the irregularity of teachers who are working on a contract basis and the government had assured that their demands will be looked into because of which the blockade has been suspended for 10 days.
“But the blockade could adversely affect the fate of the rally in support of indigenous people”, said the rally committee convener Elangbam.
The rally might be affected, as the government has ordered for strict and stringent security measures for the entire length of the rally and its participants.
