The Aam Aadmi Party is expected to kick start the second phase of the much debated odd- even vehicle scheme after the board exams scheduled to be held in March and April, this year.
An AAP official told a leading daily that, the government believes the ideal time to bring back the scheme would be after the Board exams in order to avoid inconveniencing school children.
The official has also added that the government is committed to reducing pollution in the National Capital Region.
Delaying the second phase of Odd-Even scheme till April will help, as after Board exams are over, school buses would also be available for plying on public routes.
Several hundred school buses plied on DTC routes during the first phase of the scheme, from January 1 to 15.
