Journalists manhandled in Delhi by goons in the garb of lawyers

New Delhi: The JNU crisis seems to be spiralling in Delhi with every passing day. The capital, early today saw journalists taking out to the streets from the press club of India all the way to the Supreme Court as a protest to the shocking violence that was unleashed upon students, teachers and journalists alleged to be done by a mob of goons who came in the garb of lawyers at the Patiala House Court.

As per the reports, a completely unprovoked violence was unleashed on the students, teachers and journalists at JNU. Sources state that reporters, camera persons who were present there at the court, who was doing their job of covering a court case, these lawyers apparently, came out of nowhere, threatened the journalists and trashed them.

These people were indiscriminately and brutally manhandled, at the premises of Jawaharlal Nehru Unversity.
