Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be launching a new crop insurance scheme at the farmers convention at Sherpur Village in Madhya Pradesh. Expecting a huge gathering at the venue, tight security and other arrangements are being deployed. In a first the convention today will mark a series of events that coincides with the farming community. The event is meant to apprise the farming community of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s idea of comprehensive growth.
At the event, Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be awarded the trophy of Krishi Karman. On behalf of the Madhya Pradesh government, the Prime Minister will be conferred with the Kisan Mitra and Kisan Hiteshi Samman award for his historic decisions in the interests of farming community
