The Spanish police arrested seven people suspected to be linked with Islamic state (IS) and other terror groups. The suspects were arrested when the cities of Valencia, Alicante and North African territory of Ceuta were raided.
The suspects, on questioning, confirmed about their involvement in the terror activities in Iraq and Syria.
They also revealed that IS in in search of women to be recruited to the two countries for terror attacks.
The arrested four are citizens of Spain originally from Jordon, Morroco and Syria. Details on the 7th suspect are not out yet.
Spanish investigation for IS links started back in 2014 as a part of an operation to scrutinize about the IS invasion on Spanish grounds.
