Azaadi not from India, but Azaadi within India: Kanhaiya Kumar


New Delhi: Returning from Tihar Jail to a rousing reception at JNU, the JNUSU leader Kanhaiya Kumar had lambasted the Modi government for trying to suppress the voice of the nation. Henceforth, will write his own story.

The student leader had peppered his speech with wit, sarcasm, and facts to counter the narrative of the government, which claims to label dissenting voices as anti-national.

Kanhaiya Kumar used anecdotes from his conversation with fellow police officers during his stay at Tihar to convince that there are many Rohith Vemula(s), Khalid(s) in India.

The student leader has been granted interim bail for a period six months.
