Chhota Rajan charged for fresh two new cases

The CBI has freshly charged two cases against the key aide and lieutenant of Dawood Ibrahim, Chhota Rajan who was alleged of murdering his rivals and also for attempting to murder a businessman at Mumbai.

The first case against Chhota Rajan relates to the Bhendi Bazar shoot carried out by hired long distance shooters in February 2010 injuring one, Asif Dadhi and killing two, Shakeel Modak and Irfan Qureishi. Modak being the owner of a fishing vessel, is rumoured to be a close ally of a politician who had been the MLA and MLC. Qureishi was a worker at a private printing press.

Dadhi being a criminal himself was under the close scrutiny of the Mumbai Police for illegal activities but was proved clean by the court. The police informed that a case has been registered against four unknown people under Indian Penal Code for murder and illegal inheritance of arms.

The second case against Rajan for allegedly attempting to murder Mumbai based businessman and hotelier, B.R. Shetty back in October 2012 taking the help of shooters in two motorcycles hired by Rajan himself.
