Eleven illegal migrants were caught in a Bangkok-bound bus in Mae Sot of Thailand, hiding in the luggage cabin.

Nine men and two women were found during a raid at Ban Huay Hin Fon security checkpoint and they did not carry with them proper travel permit documents, Bangkok Post reported.

Mae Sot shares a common border with Myanmar and is famous for illegal immigration activities.

The offenders were handed over to the immigration officer for additional security checks and interrogation.

Thanathip Rattanakrachang, the diver of the bus aged 48, was charged and accused for bringing in illegal immigrants into the country with him.
