Jammu-Srinagar national highway was opened for one-way traffic after four days of closure.
A senior officer of the traffic department said that the one-way traffic will be allowed on Jammu-Srinagar national highway. Only light vehicles will be allowed to move on the highway.
Constant rains in Ramban district had created landslides effecting an area over 300-km-long road.
As weather showed signs of improvement on Sunday evening, landslides were cleared at Sher Bibi, Panthal, Nasri and other places to make the highway traffic worthy.
Due to the four-day long closure of the road, availability of mutton, poultry products and vegetables have already get into a shortage in the Valley.
