In Madhya Pradesh, the state government has made elaborate arrangements to make centre’s ‘Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday Abhiyan’ campaign a success.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch this campaign in Mhow of Indore district tomorrow. AIR correspondent reports that the state government has decided to continue the campaign till 31st May, which is originally scheduled till 24th of this month.
The Centre’s ‘Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday Abhiyan’ campaign has been given a greater shape in the state to change the rural scenario. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed officials that no eligible beneficiary should remain deprived of government schemes’ benefit during this period. Feasible and practical plans will be chalked out for development of villages during the campaign.
Lists of beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Gram Aawas Yojana would be verified and names of eligible beneficiaries will be included. The state government has set up state, district and Janpad level committees to make the campaign successful.
