Most Desirable man Dhanush announced Karthik Subbaraj movie

Actor-producer Dhanush will next team up with filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj for a yet-untitled Tamil project, which will go on the floors later this year.According to sources, The project has been locked. While the genre of the film is yet unknown, the regular shooting will kick-start from September.
This is the first time Dhanush will be teaming up with Subbaraj, known for critically-acclaimed films like “Pizza” and “Jigarthanda”.

Karthik shobaraj’s flicks are famous for its unique treatment and his style. Jigarthanda was a path breaking movie in Tamil movie industry last year.  Pizza made new way of looking horror movies by its film making method.

Dhanush starred ‘Puthupettai’ directed by Selvaraghavan showed the rise of a local dude to a politician under the backdrop of chennei slums and by  Subbaraj’s Sidharth and Simha starrer Jigarthanda portrayed the life of a Local dada and his struggle of being a Goon with a witty touch.

So when these two off beat stars join together to make a film, there are more to expect to make it big.

Dhanush is currently shooting for Gautham Vasudev Menon-directed Tamil action-drama “Enai Nokki Paayum Thota”. This is also something Dhanush’s fans are looking for long time. Menon’s Vinnaithandi Varuvaya was supposed to be acted by Dhanush and later due to date clashes Chilambarasan did the role.

Dhanush’s dates are locked for 7 movies coming up this year and next year in 3 different languages.

He will start shooting for his Hollywood project “The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir” from July. This is also an interesting story that never came into silver screen. The story of Ajatashatru Oghash Rathod, a fakir who tricks his local village in Rajasthan, India into believing his possesses special powers and into paying him to fly to Paris to buy a bed of nails from an Ikea store.  Marjane satrapi is the dorector of the movie.

Dhanush also has Tamil gangster-based two-part film called “Vada Chennai” with National Award-winning filmmaker Vetrimaaran. However, one is not sure when this project will go on the floors.
