Former Google employee Nakul Khanna has come up with a solution for cab users by bringing 14 app based cab operators under one roof through his app-aggregator Instago. The new app provides the user with options between OLA, Uber, Easy Cab etc so that the user can choose what best suits them. What the app also does is that it offers a solution to the menace of surge pricing that has been witnessed during the odd-even scheme implemented by the Delhi government, by giving the user options to choose from.
Users can choose the nearest cab from all the available options and pick a specific service provider according to their convenience. All the user has to do is enter the pick up point and the destination. Instago allows users to see the price and ETA of cabs, autos and bike taxis all in one place. The company claims it saves the user the hassle of juggling multiple apps. The Instago app pieces together this information. The app then redirects the user to the specific service provider’s app for booking or their contact number.
The user also gets information like estimated price of the trip, making it easier for users to choose the one with the lowest price.
The app is currently available for Android users only with the iOS app following soon.
