Salman Khan to be the Goodwill Ambassador for Indian contingent at Rio Olympics

salmankhansultan-firstlookBollywood Superstar Salman Khan has been appointed as the Goodwill brand ambassador of Indian contingent for the upcoming Rio Olympics.

The official statement from the actor has not been made till now.

This is the first time in the history a bollywood actor has been choosen as a Goodwill ambassador for the games.

The actor is now busy with the shooting of ‘Sultan’, a movie which deals with the story of a wrestler.

India’s Sports stars MC Mary Kom, Sardar Singh, Ritu Rani, Deepika Kumari, Archery, Apurvi Chandela, Manika Batra will witness the official announcement.

Rio Olympics has been scheduled to begin on August 5 and end on August 21.

The Olympic torch has been lit in Southern Greece on April 21.

After a tour through  Greece,the torch will travel to Brazil on April 27 to begin a 95-day tour visiting 83 cities, 26 state capitals and 500 towns.
