Singer Adele has reportedly splashed out $9.5 million on a luxury mansion in Beverly Hills.
According to tmz.com, the 6,600 square foot home sits inside an exclusive gated community, and the star will reportedly have famous faces such as Jennifer Lawrence, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis and Cameron Diaz as her neighbours.
The home is said to come complete with four bedrooms, six bathrooms and a pool.
She appears to have had her son at the forefront of her mind too, as it reportedly also has an outdoor train set and a treehouse.
Adele is waiting to move as she is still on tour, but she reportedly bought the home a month ago.
Adele started her music career by recording a three-song demo for a class project favoured to a friend. The friend posted the demo on Myspace, where it became very successful and led to a phone call from Richard Russell, boss of the music label XL Recordings.
Adele’s debut album, 19, was released in 2008 to commercial and critical success. It is certified seven times platinum in the UK, and double platinum in the US.
In 2011 and 2012, Billboard named Adele Artist of the Year.
Adele has cited the Spice Girls as a major influence in regard to her love and passion for music, stating that “they made me what I am today”.
Adele possesses a contralto vocal range. Rolling Stone reported that following throat surgery her voice had become “palpably bigger and purer-toned”, and that she had added a further four notes to the top of her range.
