UAE being an establishment of many CBSE based schools have witnessed around more than 8,500 students appearing for the Class 12th Board Examinations. Students who used to plan for studying abroad were many a times stuck in dilemmas regarding the application of Universities because of the late release of the results of the Board Exams. Since, the situation was brought to the notice of the CBSE, an earlier release might ease the tricky situation which students get into while enrolling for higher studies.
The transformation of this inconvenience into a sorted scene was possible because of the strong intervention implemented by the CBSE, Regional Office of Delhi (ROD) in collaboration with the Indian consulates and embassies and 11 hub-in-charges in the Gulf region who coordinated amongst themselves for the systematic flow of answer-sheets to Delhi, the CBSE sources in New Delhi reveal.
“A different logistics company has been hired for a faster transfer of the answer sheets making the process less time consuming”, as brought to knowledge by the sources.
Many big names from the Indian Education setups established in the UAE /Gulf Countries came forward supporting the advantage it will be offering to the students which otherwise could have led to wrong career decisions made by them.
Until last year, a lot of valuable and crucial time was lost between the collection and transfer of examination sheets from across examination centers in the Gulf Co-Operation Council (GCC) and their dispatch to Delhi. The sheets were then passed on to the respective examiners for evaluation. The Board decided to introduce efficient time management techniques which led in decrementing this time by 11 hub-in-charges across GCC countries. The Board recruited the logistics firm to collect papers and deliver at their regional offices within three working days, making the evaluation and correction process faster.
The results will be available on www.cbse.results-nic.in from 8am onwards on 20 May. Also, the CBSE sends results directly to students on their personal emails.
Best wishes from our team to the aspirants looking forward to the big day.
