Delhi power crisis: Rahul Gandhi to lead protest against AAP, BJP
Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will hits streets of Delhi on 28 May to protest against the AAP dispensation in Delhi and BJP government at the Centre over power cuts and water shortage in the National Capital.
Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee chief Ajay Maken said Rahul will lead a rally from Raj Ghat to the Delhi Secretariat, the administrative headquarters of the city government, around 6.30 PM.
“Rahul ji will lead the Mashal Juloos against Power/Water woes – And the apathy of the government in Delhi on May 28 from Rajghat at 6.30 p.m.!” Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken tweeted on Tuesday.

Delhi has been reeling under a power crisis for the past few days.
Last week, Delhi saw the peak power demand at 6,188 MW, the highest since the privatisation of power distribution in Delhi in 2002.
The peak power demand touched 5,846 MW in June last year.
