Dubai to get World's first fully-airconditoned stadium
Dubai will get a new $816 million stadium named after King Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Dubai is all set to get the world's first fully air-conditioned stadium which will be raised off the ground. King of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum today viewed designs of the 60,000 capacity Mohammed bin Rashid Stadium, which will be built in Al Aweer area in Dubai.
The stadium will be able to accommodate 60,000 as audience and include facilities like training hall, 5,000 car park, a sports museum and conference halls.
The ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed inspected various models of the AED 3 billion stadium which complies with FIFA's standards.
He engaged in a panel discussion and discussed with the participants how to make sport a key lifestyle activity and build a happy and healthy community.
