Barely a day after a journalist was shot dead in Chatra Distirct, Jharkhand, one more journalist has been gunned down in its adjoining stateBihar. The killed was identified as Rajdev Ranjan 42, bureau chief of the Hindi daily Hindustan in  Siwan, Bihar.

Though the murdered was taken to the hospital after the incident, doctors said that he was brought dead. According to the sources, it was a pre-planned murder where the assailants had animosity to Rajdev Ranjan after he had posted on Facebook against a minister exposing his alleged involvement in illegal mining.

The incident has drawn criticism from the various corners of the country, since two murders happened in the state in past few days.

BJP alleged that the Nitish Kumar-led government in the state has lost its control over law and order and Jungle Raj has come back in  the state.

Two days ago a journalist Indradeo Yadav was gunned down in Jharkhand, where RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav held Raghubar Das government accountable for the brutal murder.

Meantime, the convict in the Gaya murder case Rocky Yadav confessed to the investigation officers that he had killed the teenager for over-taking his car. Rocky Yadav and his Mother Moanorama devi, leader of ruling party in the state have been taken in to custody.
