Waiting is over. Now you can apply for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) phase II that will be held on July 24, 2016.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started accepting online application for the NEET through its website www.aipmt.nic.in.
Candidates can apply for July 24 NEET-II till midnight of June 21, 2016.
The phase II of the NEET will be comprised of one paper containing 180 objective questions, with four options for each question.
The questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and the duration of paper will be 03 hours from 10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.
The CBSE stated that the All India merit list and All India Rank of qualified students will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the National Eligibility – cum Entrance Test (NEET).
The admission to MBBS/BDS courses will also follow the existing reservation policies.
Exam fee should be sent through e-challan and other e-mode.
“The test will be applicable for admissions to the All India quota seats, State Government Quota seats where the state government concerned so opts and Private/Management/NRI Quota seats in all Private Medical/Dental Colleges or any Private/Deemed University,” CBSE said in the official statement.
“The detailed information regarding test, syllabus and eligibility criteria will be available on the website www.aipmt.nic.in,” the statement said.
Earlier on Wednesday CBSE in its official statement made it clear that candidates can apply from last Thursday onwards through website. However, applicants were not able to apply since they got a message saying, “Coming Shortly. Please try again after some time.
