Destination Dawn, Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority’s first 12-hour music festival, will take over Al Marjan beach on May 27 featuring international DJs from Thomas Gold to Goldfish to local talented artists including Hollaphonic, YVEL K and Scott Forshaw.
Starting at 5pm and continuing to 5am, the event is the first of its kind to take place in Ras Al Khaimah, raising the Emirate’s profile as a destination for music events.
Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority CEO Haitham Mattar said: “Our growing events calendar plays a key role in promoting tourism in the Emirate. Destination Dawn is a great example of the pioneering events Ras Al Khaimah is increasingly hosting for residents and visitors alike. There has been an overwhelming demand for tickets to the festival, highlighting the need for such events.”
Mattar added: “We’re pleased to bring Destination Dawn to Ras Al Khaimah, along with several other events which appeal to a broad range of visitors including sports fans, families, adventure seekers and many more.”
A wide variety of food options, drinks and shisha spots will also be available at the venue of the event.
Those travelling to Ras Al Khaimah from Dubai for the festival can take advantage of free shuttle buses from Manara Centre Parking (Noor Bank Metro Station) on Shaikh Zayed Road, which will depart at 4pm, returning at 3.30am from Ras Al Khaimah.
