IPL 2016 Royal Challengers vs Delhi Daredevils: RCB advances to Semis, Bye-Bye for DD
RCB raised the flag of victory at the Rajkumar College Ground, Raipur today by defeating DD by 6 wickets in their Vivo IPL 2016 match. The Delhi side raised a score of 138/8 in 20 overs which clearly didn’t seem to bring them the fight they needed to put up at today’s Vivo IPL match. Quinton de Kock (60 off 52 balls) was the leading run scorer from the DD side. The RCB displayed a pretty economic stat of bowling figures. Chahal’s spell in which he grabbed 3 wickets made him outshine for the RCB.
Though, DD developed immense pressure by making big names like Chris Gayle (1 off 4 balls) and AB de Villiers (6 off 8 balls) return to the pavilion very soon. But when it came to the partnership of Kohli and KL Rahul, it seemed like they were unstoppable. Kohli doing at what he’s best by chasing down the score by hitting 54 off 45 balls (not out) was accompanied by KL Rahul (38 off 23 balls).
With RCB hitting the scoring runs and taking over the match, opens an exit door for the Delhi Daredevils who will no longer be a part of the tournament. By winning this match, RCB has booked it’s slot for the semi final of the Vivo IPL Season 9.
Kohli awarded as the man of the match for his outstanding innings. Like that is something new to the people!!! The man is definitely a run machine and a sure shot match winner.
