With the final match of the Vivo IPL being played today, if you are a cricket fan and you thought it was okay to miss this match, you have definitely lost a great deal of a game. Such high standards in batting, bowling and fielding are not witnessed everyday.
SRH won the match by 8 runs leaving all the cricket lovers amazed.

The final match of the Vivo IPL was nothing less than expected. It was qualitative bashing of the ball from both the ends. Both the sides left no ounce of energy to prevail as the winner of this match.

The SRH putting up a final justified score of 208/ (20 overs) was all sorts of justification the grand finale of this 50 days tournament. David Warner leading his side like the champion he is, playing a ballistic innings of 69 of 38 balls. Yuvraj Singh (38 runs off 23 balls) did a reasonable contribution. But there was a situation developed for the SRH with the constant fall of wickets that their run rate seemed to sink and the great start which Warner initiated could have gone to waste. It was when Ben Cutting came in, and understood the importance of this game and raised the team to a score of 208/ with his attacking innings of 39* off 15 balls.

The RCB showed a better opening thatn the SRH with Gayle and Kohli attacking from both the sides. The Gayle (76 runs off 38 balls) storm tormented every SRH member and supporter with the fireworks the huge man displayed. He was dismissed by Ben Cutting.
Virat Kohli on the other hand, the man who shined throughout the tournament, as a captain and as a performer, led by setting an example and scored 54 runs off 36 balls.
But the increasing bowling attack from the SRH surely proved it’s strength yet again.

It was a moment of a rush of extreme joy with Warner roaring with the finish of the last ball’s delivery along with his team mates.

This IPL game surely was like no other game. Such great performances from both the sides, such will to win the title from both the sides, but only one of them could prevail and that is Sunrisers Hyderabad.

On this note, the Vivo IPL Season 9 ends till next year and we can only rejoice the great matches and performances witnessed in this killer of a tournament.
