Uptown Health Screening Centre, Dubai’s first occupational screening centre

Dubai had the inauguration of its first occupational screening centre, Union Health Screening Centre which will be providing screening certifications for 15 professions.

Uptown Health Screening Centre, which is the UAE’s first occupational screening centre provides screening for 15 professions and was inaugurated on Monday.

Humaid Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board and Director-General of Dubai Health Authority (DHA) opened the centre which is located in uptown Mirdif.

The centre provides occupational screening for 15 job categories for people who wish to get a certification according to the requirement of their profession.

The new centre can handle 2,500 customers per day and operates from Sunday to Thursday from 7.30am to 2.30pm.

The centre will cater to the needs of the emirate of Dubai as a whole.

Getting an occupational certification is mandatory by some employers in the public and private sector in Dubai.
