Following the JEE Advanced 2016 result declared earlier this month, the rank list is expected today, 23 June, which over 11 lakhs JEE Main aspirants have been waiting.
The publication of JEE Main rank list is considered to be as part two of results and it will decide their eligibility for allocation to around 34,781 seats for 629 courses in 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 18 GFTIs and 20 IIITs.
10,575 seats are up for grab in IITs this year while NITs are availing a total of 18,013 seats, all to be filled through JoSAA and based on JEE Main rank.
The rank list of JEE Main is prepared after normalising 60% weightage of the test score with 40% weightage of Class 12 marks.
The rank list of JEE Main 2016 will be published on www.jeemain.nic.in, cbse portal and also on josaa.nic.in on 23rd June.
JEE aspirants will be able to know their ranks under their login profile after entering the roll number and required details.
JEE Main rank list 2016 will be published for all of the candidates including Advanced qualified ones.
