Saina Nehwal has just won her second Australian Open title in Women's singles by defeating the Chinese badminton sensation, Sun Yu in the finals which was played between them on Sunday. The victory was personal for Saina because of the competitive history she had with Sun Yu and once again making India proud by emerging as the winner. PM Narendra Modi congratulated the badminton star on her victory.
Indian badminton star, Saina Nehwal captured second Australian Badminton Open Superseries title in three years after overcoming Chinese Sun Yu in the women’s singles final here on Sunday.
Saina Nehwal's victory means a lot to her and the Indians as well as she has again proved to be a champion who believes in getting what she wants by fighting for it and putting in the potentials of inputs for the Australian Badminton Open Superseries title.
This is just not a triumph for her, it is a representation of India winning laurels and medals at international platforms which has rightly been justified by the Indian Badminton star, Saina Nehwal by defeating the Chinese badmintion sensation, Sun Yu.
Saina has delivered her patent of talent to India earlier as well, and has lived up to the expectations of the fans who follow the sport and has given innumerable reasons to the Indians to celebrate after her finals which was composed of fights and struggles.
