"Sabaash Naidu" will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi simultaneosly
Kamal Haasan starts shooting for 'Sabaash Naidu' at Los Angeles
The makers of Kamal Haasan-starrer "Sabaash Naidu", which will simultaneously be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi has gone on the floors in Los Angeles.
"First day's shooting going smoothly for the two Naidus and one Kundu. Great dancers, great crew," Haasan wrote on his Twitter page on Tuesday.
The film is a spinoff on the popular character Balram Naidu from Haasan's 2010 Tamil film "Dasavatharam".
In the film, which also features Shruti Haasan, Ramya Krishnan, Roger Narayanan and Saurabh Shukla, Haasan will return as RAW operative Balram Naidu.
While Shruti will play Haasan's reel daughter, Ramya Krishnan will be seen as the wife.
One more interesting fact is that Shruti Haasan’s younger sister Akshara Haasan is the assistant director of Sabash Naidu. Sources say that team Sabash Naidu will be shooting in Los Angeles for another 60 days and they are also having plans to shoot in Vizag in September.
Rajeev Kumar of Chanakyan fame is directing Sabash Naidu, which will have music composed by Ilaiyaraaja.
Popular star comedian Brahmanandam will play Haasan's sidekick in the film, which will be directed by T.K. Rajeev Kumar.
The film is being produced by Raaj Kamal International in association with Lyca Productions.
