Too much love between the world's smallest couple
The world's shortest couple have been together for the past 8 years
The world's first shortest couple is Paulo Gabriel da Silva Barros, 34.8in and Katyucia Hoshino, 35.2in who sizes only less than 3 feet in length hiling from Itapeva. There is too much love between them and they have proved to the world that size doesn't matter in love. The couple would love to hold the Guinness World Records of being the world's shortest couple.
Thanks to the internet which let bloom their love. They met on a website and starting getting to know each other through MSN chat.
For Paulo it was love at first sight, but Katyucia blocked him instantly on the messaging site. She said, 'The first time I started talking to Paulo, he was really annoying. He had cheap-pick up lines."
Later Katyucia had a change and something in her head told her to unblock him after a year and a half. “By then he was already more relatable,” she said.
“Basically, we are a normal couple but our height is a little smaller,” Barros told Barcroft TV. “The best thing about our relationship is our closeness, our companionship we have for each other.”
30 year old Paulo is a legal secretary and has diastrophic dysplasia dwarfism. He is considering a mayoral run his hometown at Itapeva. 26 year old Katyucia has achondroplasia dwarfism and is about an inch taller than Paul, she is a beautician having her own beauty salon.
During their first date, Paulo "was wearing an orange shirt, jeans and sunglasses" which was unimpressive, "thank God it has improved since then" added Katyucia.
“What most attracted me to her, besides her beauty, was how sweet she was. It was her sweet personality,” said Paulo.
For the past eight years they have been together, and they have considered about getting it official but Paulo has not yet posed the question to Katyucia. Katyucia said, 'I had never dated before so Paulo is my first boyfriend, my first everything.'
“We’ve decided to let things happen at the right moment,” Hoshino said. “In regards to the future we say, ‘never say never.’”
Katyucia added, “We fight like every couple. A couple that doesn't fight isn't a normal couple. Our thoughts match, our ideas match, our feelings match and that's really cool.
The only question or the problem they presently think they would face in the future is concerning having kids of their own.
“We’ve discussed having kids. My pregnancy would be high risk because the size of my uterus wouldn’t support a baby,” she said.
“Respect wasn’t conquered from one day to another. Respect was conquered through a lot of hard work,” Paulo told Barcroft Media. Katyucia said, “I've been through discrimination every day. Every day I go outside and you see people pointing at you, whispering about you, that's normal. You can't escape it.”
They are a happy couple and compatible for each other, hope they last long forever and ever.
