Udta Punjab has finally passed the elimination round successfully at the hands of the Censor Board members headed by Pahlaj Nihalani with Bombay High Court ruling out the cuts narrowing it down to just one.
The filmmakers had approached the court after claiming that the censor board had asked them to make 89 cuts. Censor board chief Pahlaj Nihalani told reporters on Sunday that the film could be released with 13 cuts, ahead of the court verdict on Monday.
