Nach Baliye 4 winners are no more baliyes. Daljeet Kaur admits she had to face domestic abuse from her husband Shaleen Bhanot who is also an actor.

Daljeet Kaur looks beautiful as ever. After her weight loss, she has been appearing in news and being appreciated for her looks. She seems to be very happy after parting ways with her ex-husband, Shaleen Bhanot. The rough times she had gone through now revealed and she has taken the stand for her son, Shaarav.

In an interview to Times of India, the bold actress recalls,”It wasn’t love at first sight. We became close gradually and got married immediately after ‘Nach Baliye’. Trouble started the very next day, when my mother-in-law stopped talking to me because she wasn’t happy with the wedding gifts. Status-wise, we were very different from my in-laws and they always knew about it. My father has three daughters and couldn’t afford the kind of extravagant wedding they had expected.”

The Actress then said “Right now I am going through so many uncertainties and trying to settle down everything in my life. I want to kick that person hard who said, ‘money can’t buy you happiness’. I know what is life without money. My life had become hell without money. I don’t decide anything in life, so whenever it (love) has to happen, it will happen.”

The misery began when she quit working following pregnancy, “During my pregnancy, I developed severe asthma and was on steroids, which Shaleen doesn’t even know. He never accompanied me to the doctor for check-ups.” Further, Daljeet says how her husband had a fight with her on the day of their son’s birth. “He didn’t want me to undergo Caesarean and accused me of influencing the doctor. His argument was that I wouldn’t be a woman enough if I went in for C-section.”

Talking about love, “Right now I am going through so many uncertainties and trying to settle down everything in my life. I want to kick that person hard who said, ‘money can’t buy you happiness’. I know what is life without money. My life had become hell without money. I don’t decide anything in life so whenever it (love) has to happen, it will happen.”

Daljeet is now more confident and already lost 25 kg which makes her very proud. We wish her best of her carreer!
