Gauri Shinde is making a come back, with 'Dear Zindangi': Starring King Khan and Alia Bhatt

Gauri Shinde, the lady behind English Vinglish, which was a huge box office hit in the year 2012, is now back with her new project Dear Zindagi starring Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt, which is to release on 25th of November. But for a while there were suppositions that she would come up with a part 2 of English Vinglish but this time starring Kajol.
Karan Johar made a formal announcement in mid 2015 that Gauri's next project would be starring Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt. All what Shah Rukh and Alia had to say about this upcoming project was that it is not a typical love story.
However, the film's first look is being released with a sequence of Twitter exchanges between Alia and Shah Rukh.
The tweets exchanged by them to promote this Gauri Shinde project reminds you of old-school letters or diary entries. Karan Johar, said that promoting the movie through a series of twitter posts was Gauri’s brainchild.
"Dear Zindagi," Alia asks in one tweet, "Is it okay to not be okay?" to which Shah Rukh replies, "It's okay to not be okay. As long as you take care of one person — and that's you".
Dear Zindangi is a female centered movie where Alia ( playing the role of an aspiring film maker) who had been in a relationship with four men (and this will be played by Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Zafar, Angad Bedi and Kunal Kapoor), and how it influences her life and the film she's working on. All four of them with whom she had been in a relation have different personalities and the character portrayed by Alia Bhatt interacts with them differently.
Alia approaches a life coach, portrayed by King Khan, who helps her develop a perspective in life. Alia has already shot for a song called ‘Love You Zindagi’.
Interestingly, the makers of Kahaani 2 have announced its release date, and both these movies happens to be releasing on November 25, 2016.
