Harbhajan Singh backs Virat Kohli

Giving the thumbs up and vote of confidence to the Virat Kohli led Test team in the West Indies, out favour  Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has predicted that Kohli and his young Team India will emerge  victorious against hosts West Indies in the four-match Test series. Team India has good memories of previous tours . In 2006  India clinched the four match Test series 1-0 under 'The Wall' Rahul Dravid and in 2011 they won by the same margin under the captain cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni  . Hence the four Test series  this time around  will give the Anil Kumble-coached young side a brilliant opportunity to better that record.

The 36-year-old also said that the hosts with a young team and with hardly any known face will be an advantage for the Virat Kohli-led outfit.

“My predictions for Ind vs WI. @BCCI r fav to win the series.WI hv a young team nt sure if thy can match with Ind.Hardly any known face,” Harbhajan tweeted on Thursday.

Former India batsman V.V.S Laxman also wished India luck for the series.

"Good luck Team India for the WI test series ?? @BCCI #IndvsWI," Laxman tweeted.

The hosts haven't won a Test series against anyone other than Bangladesh or Zimbabwe, home or away, since August 2012 while India can bank on their 2-1 away win against Sri Lanka and 3-0 thrashing of South Africa at home late last year.
