Perhaps the adage ‘home is where the heart is’ could not have been more apt to Bachchan junior and his family’s decision to buy a home in Dubai, away from Mumbai.
Reportedly, the star couple Abhishek and Aishwarya have been handed the keys to their new home. The Bachchans are the latest Bollywood members who have preferred to make themselves comfortable in Dubai which is like a second home for many other celebrities. It looks as though the Emirates’ intriguing urban architecture coupled with the natural landscape has caught their fancy too.
Their posh villa is a part of a 97-villa project located in the upscale Sanctuary Falls in Dubai’s Jumeirah Golf Estates. Developed by Sheikh Holdings, the Mediterranean-themed house overlooks the Earth course, an 18-hole championship golf course, which is venue for the DP World Tour Championship.
According to the developers, each villa comes fitted with a Scavolini designer kitchen with Miele appliances, Nolte wardrobes and feature sanitary ware by Villeroy and Boch. The villas have meticulously devised flood plans, ranging from with-arrival water fountains, resort-style swimming pools, full landscaped gardens and outdoor majlis seating areas, reported ‘City Times’.
As expected, the celebrity couple ‘s elegant and sprawling abode has been creating quite a buzz.

Abhishek and Aishwarya got married in 2007 and have 5-year old daughter Aradhya.
Aishwarya was last seen in ‘Sarbjit’, a biopic on the life of Indian farmer Sarabjit Singh who was taken prisoner by Pakistan after he had accidentally crossed the border Indo-Pak border. In the movie, Ash portrayed the role of Daljeet Kaur, Sarabjit’s sister who is determined to get her brother out from the Pakistani prison.
On the other hand, Abhishek was last seen in ‘Housefull 3’. The multi-starer comedy did exceptionally well at the box office.
