PM Modi chairs high-level meeting to review Kashmir situation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting to review the law and order situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

“The Prime Minister is chairing a high level meeting on the situation in Kashmir,” the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said in a tweet.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Minister of State in the PMO Jitendra Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval were present at the meeting at 7 Race Course Road, the Prime Minister’s House, here.

Modi returned Tuesday morning after a five-day tour of four African nations.
