20 years celebration edition of "Rise of The Tomb Raider" will be released this October for PS4.

“Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Years” an action adventure video game, developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix is all set ready to hit Play Station 4, this October 2016 as a 20 years celebration edition. The game was already released in November 2015 in Xbox One and Xbox 360 and in November 2015 for PCs.

Crystal Dynamics co-head Scot Amos said that when they were planning to launch the PS4 version of ‘Rise Of The Tomb Raider’, their first plan was to outdo anything that they had done before, such as their definitive edition. He also added that a mere ‘game of the Year’ wouldn’t satisfy neither them nor their fans, and that they knew that their Play Station community both deserved and demanded more than that.

Apart from the main game this celebration edition of ‘Rise of The Tomb Rider’ would also include a new story “Blood Ties” which allows players to explore Croft Manor and unlock its mysteries. This also includes Lara’s nightmare, where the players have to fight against a group of zombies. Crystal Dynamics has also made “Blood Ties” available as a virtual reality experience for players on PlayStation VR (PSVR).

“Blood Ties” is another variant of the Endurance survival mode, which would allow two players to team up and fight for survival as long as possible. Two things a player has to take into consideration in this game are hunger and warmth. Player should go out for tombs between the waves as they have provided necessary resources and upgrades. Players who are skilled enough to play under extreme situations will only be able to save their progress by obtaining enough reserves to make a campfire.

Celebration edition also comes with re-mastered version of cold weather outfit and Hailstorm Pistol from Tomb Raider III. It also comes with a set of cards that the player can activate so that he can play the game through the main story mode with five classic Lara Croft models, including the original Lara Croft model from the 1996 game.
