Euro 2016 is heading for a thrilling finish. The tournament has so far seen some stunning as well as shocking results. Fans also got see some spectacular goals and moments. Take a look at some of the sensational moments so far in the tournament which reached the semi-finals stage.

Shaqiri

Xherdan Shaqiri was instrumental for Switzerland in group stages despite being not finding a place in score sheet. Shaqiri scored a stunning bicycle kick in  the pre-quarters against Poland to level the scores, but he missed a penalty in the shoot-out and Switzerland crashed out of the Euro.

 

Dimitri-Payet

Dimitri Payet is incredible in the French midfield. He scored two stunning goals and assisted for one. His goal in the opening match is one of the goals of Euro 2016. Payet was in cloud nine after that goal.

 

Iceland-fans

Minnows Iceland is the team of the tournament and fans favourite. Their unity and fans’ support was amazing as they knocked out England in the pre-quarters.

 

Gareth-Bale

Wales’ superstar Gareth Bale is in stunning form in the Euro 2016. He played brilliantly for the Dragons in every match and the only so called superstar who kept the expectation of Fans and the country.

 

kroosToni Kroos and Mesut Ozil are brilliant so far in the tournament. Both engineered Germany’s progress to the quarter-finals. The world champions’ hope of winning the Euro is on these two players shoulders.

 

Ibrahimovic

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, one of the greatest club footballers of this time announced retirement from International arena as Sweden failed to progress to the pre-quarters.
