Oily skin is an issue for many people. For some, their face gets greasy in the summer and for others winters bear the bad news. To make life, all the more difficult, painful pimples and acne come complimentary with oily skin.

Spending dollars after dollars seems like a waste of investment when the oil always seems to return and haunt you. But why spend money on products that can be replaced with natural ingredients and work just as good, perhaps, even better? Also, with so chemical side effects, whatsoever.

Here are a few things you can find in your kitchen, that will help you get rid of that greasy skin you despise so much.

1. Lemon Juice and Cucumber



Let's begin with something that is easily available and will be found in your kitchen in you look for it now. Lemon and cucumber. Lemon has the ability to rejuvenate and revitalise the skin as it absorbs access oil and cucumber hydrated the skin, keeping it fresh. Mixes the juices of both and apply. Once the mask is dry, rinse with warm water followed by a few splashes of cold water. This will help in tightening pores.

2. Baking Soda


It balances the skin's Ph level, helps regulate the amount of oil on our face and removes dead skin cells by exfoliation. Mia two spoons of baking soda with a spoon of water, message your face with the paste for about five minute, let it sit till it's dry before washing it with warm water.

3. Orange Peel and Rose Water


Dry the orange peels under the sun, grind them to a powdery texture and mix with rose water. Apply the paste for fifteen minutes and rinse with water. Practice this on a regular basis for reduction in blemishes and to get rid of oily skin. While, the  astringents contained in orange peels help in controlling secretion of oil by the glands, rose water has the power to purify and cleanse skin, heal other skin damages, lighten blemishes and overall complexion and it also helps to remove acne.

4. Milk


Dab some milk on to your face with a cotton ball. Let it sit till its dry before washing it with warm water. Make sure to wash your face thoroughly before applying milk on the face, for deeper cleansing. The milk can also be mixed with essential oils such as lavender and sandalwood, in which case it needs to be kept over night before application. Milk has properties that minimise the quantity of sebum which leaves the skin soft, along with extracting oil by serving as and oil-free cleansing ingredient.

5. Apple, Oatmeals, Lemon Juice and Egg Whites 


Mix freshly crushed apple juice with lemon juice, whipped egg white and some oat meals. Message your face slightly with this portion as you apply it, leave it on for 15 minutes before washing it with cold water. The alpha hydroxy acids (AHA), fibre and Vitamin C present in the apples help is moisturising, tanning and softening of the skin.

Additionally, you must wash your face with water several times a day, especially after you have been outdoors, drink plenty of water, eat many fruits and vegetables, avoid being out in the sun for too long, avoid greasy food items, use cosmetics with liquid properties, keep your make-up brushes clean, make sure to wipe of make up before you go to sleep and, keep dirty hands and oily hair away from the face.
