Here are some of the home remedies that can help you reduce your under eye circles. Let me begin with the most easiest and quickest one.
Go Cucumber eyes:
The easiest and the most common one is to keep cucumber slices on your eyes. Well, the reason is that it has skin-lightening and mild astringent properties. Cucumbers are completely meant to fix those dark circles. Not only that, they are soothing and refreshing too.
Refrigerate thick slices for about 30 minutes.
Place the slices on the dark circles for about 10 minutes.
Wash the area with water.
Repeat this process twice a day for one week to see immediate results.
Raw Potato Power:
They have natural bleaching agents. All you have to do is:
Refrigerate and grate the potatoes in such a way that you can extract the juice.
A cotton ball must be soaked in the juice extract and placed on your closed eyes.
Let the juice settle for about 15 minutes and rinse your eyes with cool water.
Repeat once or twice daily for 2 – 3 weeks to see results.
Cold Milk Potion:
The lactic acid in the potion helps in improving the smoothness, thickness and firmness of the skin. These acids eliminate the lines and wrinkles.
Take a cotton ball and dip it in the bowl of cold milk.
Place the cotton ball on your eyes and cover the affected area.
Keep it for 15 minutes and wash with water.
Repeat this once a day for two weeks
Rose water toner:
Rose water rejuvenates the skin with its antioxidant properties. It tightens and tones pores.
Soak the cotton balls in the rose water.
Place the cotton pads on your eyes.
After 15 minutes, wash your eyes.
Do this daily for four weeks
Tomato Lemon twist:
Tomatoes contain powerful bleaching properties that lighten the skin.
Add 1 teaspoon of tomato juice with one and half teaspoon of lemon juice. (You may use only the juice of tomatoes). You can drink a glass of tomato juice with some mint leaves, lemon juice and salt for a few weeks. Drink this juice as soon as it is prepared.
Mix it well and apply this mixture on your dark circles.
Rinse after 10 minutes with water.
Repeat twice a day for a 3 weeks.
