Coming Soon: Baahubali Sequel First Look Poster To Release On 23 October
All cine lovers who had watched ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’, have been waiting for the film’s sequel, so here’s a happy news, the film’s first look poster is to be unveiled on 23 October this year.
The filmmakers who last year on the eve of Prabhas’ birthday while shooting the first installment of the film, surprised him by celebrating his birthday on the sets. This year they have plans of giving a special treat to fans on Prabhas’s birthday which is on October 23 by unveiling the first look poster of ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’.
According to the film’s spokesperson as reported in a daily, “the makers are planning to offer a double treat to the audience and unveil particular content from the sequel which can be released on Prabhas’ birthday”.
Baahubali: The Beginning which was one of the blockbuster hits in 2015 had grossed over Rs 600 crore worldwide. With the sequel releasing next year, it’s quite sure that the film will break all records that had been set till now by other films.
Director SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali 2’ or ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ is the sequel to ‘Baahubali– The Beginning’. The film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Rana Dugabatti and Anushka Shetty in lead roles. Baahubali- The Beginning was released in July last year. The cast & crew is currently in Hyderabad’s Ramoji film city shooting the grand climax for the film, which should be wrapped up by August 31.
It is reported that the makers spent around Rs 30 crore just to shoot the climax sequence. A source close to the unit said: “The climax features an awe-inspiring battle sequence that will last for about half an hour in the film. It’s going to be even more grand and dramatic than the battle scenes in the first part.”
All those who watched the first installment had been making speculations about why Katappa killed Baahubali. The sequel Baahubali 2 will be releasing in 2017 on April 28 and would put an end to all these speculations.
