With this, Fawad has joined other celebrities like Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha and Sonam Kapoor who promoted Akshay Kumar's 'Rustom' on Twitter

Actor Fawad Khan has joined the list of celebrities to wish Akshay Kumar all the success for his film ‘Rustom’, which is just a day away from its release.

Two days back, Fawad shared a video on Twitter through which he shared his heartfelt best wishes to the Bollywood’s “Khiladi” Kumar, he tweeted, “As-salamu ?alaykum, sir. Rustom 2 more days to go. Here’s wishing The real Khiladi from Bollywood, the very best, with his next release. ”

He also added, “Aur, meri tarah baaki Pakistani fans ki taraf se bhi aapko bahut duayen. Aur umeed hai ki yeh bhi film bahut behtareen perform kare just like your past films” ( Along with me, all the other Pakistani fans also sends you heartiest wishes. Hopefully, this film too gives an excellent performance just like all your past movies.”)

Akshay replied in a tweet saying, “Wa alaykumu s-salam Fawad. Thank you for the wishes. Love to you and all in Pakistan 🙂 #2DaysToRustom.”

Since, the countdown for Rustom’s release has begun, many celebrities like Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Sonam Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan were seen promoting the film.

Here is Salman Khan’s  tweet in support of ‘Rustom’:

The surprising part is even Hrithik Roshan, whose ‘MohenjoDaro’ releases on the same day as that of Akshay Kumar’s Rustom, promoted the film. He tweeted, “#MohenjoDaro is just 4 days away. And so is #Rustom (wink) @akshaykumar #dostiKiHaiToNibhaniPadegi.”

Two days before the theatrical release of this film, it was reported that two of its mild demeaning words, ‘b***h’ and ‘b*****d’ have been deleated from ‘Rustom’ by the Censor Board.

‘Rustom’ stars Ileana D’Cruz as the female lead and is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai. The wait is over. This film is all set to hit the theaters tomorrow.
