Fast bowler Brett Lee will be promoting his upcoming rom- com film “UnIndian” on the popular Indian comedy TV show “Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain!”.

Saumya Tandon, who plays the role Anita in the show, said in a statement, “Lee is one of the most admired cricketers in the world. Glad to hear he is coming on the sets of our show. I have heard that he plays the guitar beautifully, so I am hoping to hear him strum for me.”

Lee will be shooting for the special episode on Wednesday. The show, which is aired on &TV also features television actors Aashif Sheikh, Shubhangi Atre and Rohitash Gaud. Media reports said that, everybody on the sets of Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai seemed to be excited because all of them are huge fans of Brett Lee especially the actor, Aasif Sheikh. Futhermore, Lee is also fond of Indian TV shows and quite a popular one in Australia.

Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hai was seen and heard quite often in news after the show’s lead Shilpa Shinde walked out of the show. We also hear that the actress had complained against the show and the unpleasant treatment she was offered. But the matter took a unplanned twist when Shilpa got MNS involved and was banned. Shilpa was replaced by Shubhangi Atre Poorey, who was replaced after Shilpa had quit her previous show Chidiyaghar.

According to DNA, talking about his experience Bret Lee expressed, “Both the bhabhis, Saumya and Shubhangi are brilliant actors and both are my favorite. I am very happy that I got to learn the Hindi from them. I had a wonderful time shooting with the entire cast too.”

“UnIndian” is directed by Anupam Sharma and is starred by Tannishtha Chatterjee and Nicholas Brown among others, which is slated to release on August 19 in India.
