Four dead, seven hurt in landslide at Vaishno Devi shrine

Four people, including three pilgrims, died and eight were injured on Saturday morning in a landslide triggered by heavy rain on old track to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Jammu region.
A landslide hit the old track to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra district, police said. The landslide occurred on Banganga-Ardhkuwari road around midnight.
"At least 12 people were hit by the landslide," police said.
The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
The victims were identified as 29-year-old Shashidhar Kumar of Banglore, 30-year-old Bindu Sahni and her 5-year-old son Vishal from Chhattisgarh, besides 32-year-old Sadik was a 'ponywalla', CEO of Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) Ajeet Sahu said.
Those injured in the incident are Suraj Kant Sahni (36) of Chhattisgarh; Ved Singh (69), Naryani (58) and Om Parkas (62) of Haryana; Paras (8) and Santosh (28) of Banglore. The yatra to the cave shrine, which was disrupted for some hours, later resumed, the ASP said.
