So, we all know that Priyanka Chopra has made it big in the Hollywood, now that she is the lead of the american series Quantico, and the series is in its second season. This is a clear indication that Quantico is doing rather well for itself and for Piggy Chops.
On the other hand, we have Om Shanti Om‘s Deepika Padukone, not only has her relationship with Ranveer Singh made many headlines, but the she also got a lot of attention from the west when she made a leap into the Hollywood industry, acting opposite to the Vin Disel in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. This makes tallies their score, as the both of then got a fair enough break in the America entertainment industry.
Well, Deepika didn’t quite seem to stop at that. Forbes recently declared Deepika Padukone as one of the highest paying actresses in the world. With ranking of the 10th highest paid actress in the world with $10 million. Might we mention, she is the only Bollywood actress to have made it to top 10. Clearly beating Pryianka Chopra. Guessing, 10 is Deepika’s new lucky number. Also, with this, Deepika has upped her game making her one of the actresses to break the general norm as she levels with the Bollywood actors, in terms of pay.
Despite the tough competition in their field, and with the two being pit-up against each other, they claim that they are on good terms with each other. According to these glamorous, successful Indian beauties, they are still good friends. In one of her press conferences, Priyanka has conveyed “I thought Deepika and I were friends.” She also added “I didn’t say anything. The way we were, we are still the same.”
But one does wonder why they haven’t been seen together lately, not even on an event as big as an award function held in Madrid, where the rumours were that they were going to share the stage together, however they were seen to be performing separately. To this Piggy Chops said “Initially, I guess that was the plan. But then I think they changed it. Don’t ask me why, I have no clue.”
Also, PC’s recent actives like, replacing Creative Artists Agency which previously handled her PR matter, with William Morris Endeavour, seems to suggest that something isn’t working for her.
